The Staff

At Park Lake we have a permanent staff of six (6) and a 7th part time person as and when required. In total, our staff has a combined 48 years of experience at Park Lake, it’s been said on many occasions that our guides are the best that can be found in the industry anywhere! Our food service personnel receive accolades from all our guests. Home-style meals are served and we attempt to add a local flavor using some of the delicacies of Labrador. Our cook will be happy to deal with any special dietary requirements.

Meal hours and fishing hours are fixed, but again our obliging staff are more than willing to accommodate guest requests. Our guides are very knowledgeable about the Lake and should be entrusted to know where and when the fishing is best. As well, it should be stressed that our guides are “captains of their ships” when they are on the water and strictly enforce PFD regulations, alcohol consumption standards and the like.

The staff in Goose Bay will meet and greet the anglers at the scheduled and chartered flights on arrival in Goose Bay, assisted with bag and baggage and transported to overnight, pre-arranged accommodation. On the morning of departure to Park Lake, guests will be transported to our charter aircraft for the quick flight to the Lodge. At the end of the stay at Park Lake, guests will again be met on arrival at Otter Creek and transferred back to the airport. It should be noted that the Goose Bay staff is only too willing to be of assistance to our guests during their stay in Goose Bay.
